Young people need special protection. Especially when it comes to alcohol. We thus consistently advocate moderate consumption and only for those who are 18 years or older.
As a long-standing family business, we are aware of our responsibility towards society and the people who enjoy our products. The protection of minors is especially important to us.
In 2009, we therefore set down clear rules for our marketing activities in our Jägermeister Marketing Code, which in some areas go beyond currently applicable statutory regulations and the voluntary commitments of the industry.
Our external communication exclusively addresses adults and advocate responsible alcohol consumption. We are against downplaying the effects of alcohol and for respecting social norms and conventions. Regular training for employees, service providers and partners form the basis of compliance with our Code.
